VOTE BRYAN LITSEY FOR CHANHASSEN CITY COUNCIL ON TUESDAY, NOVEMBER 3, 2026

Thanks John for kicking off my grassroots campaign!

INDEPENDENT, SELF-FUNDED AND COMMUNITY-FIRST

I believe local government works best when elected leaders truly listen and act in the best interest of the community—not political parties, donors or special interests. I am running for Chanhassen City Council to offer independent, resident-first leadership focused on the health, safety and future of our hometown.

MY CAMPAIGN COMMITMENTS

Resident Focused: My allegiance is to the people of Chanhassen. Municipal decisions regarding our neighborhoods, parks, taxes, public safety and development should be driven by local consensus—not partisan platforms or national politics.

Candidate Funded & Independent: To maintain complete independence and unbiased decision-making, I accept $0 in campaign contributions. By self-funding my campaign, I ensure that no donors or special interest groups try to leverage influence over my votes on the council.

Putting Service Above Self: My guiding principle on the City Council will always be doing what is best for Chanhassen over personal ambition. Responsible governance isn't about status, titles or pushing a private agenda. Rather, it is about delivering practical, common-sense results for our community. That means listening to residents, making sound fiscal decisions and partnering with our local nonprofits to support neighbors in need and protect our quality of life. By focusing on practical consensus rather than division, I am committed to earning your trust every day.

Word can sure travel fast. Shortly after filing for office at City Hall, I pulled into my driveway and spotted what appeared to be a homemade sign in the front yard. My friend and neighbor, John, had already heard the news and wanted to be the first to show his support. Starting my campaign with a neighbor's hand-crafted sign is the exact spirit of community this grassroots campaign is all about.

IT WOULD BE GREAT TO HEAR FROM YOU!

ABOUT MY FAMILY

My wife, Lisa, and I have called Chanhassen home for 27 years. A few years after moving here, we were blessed with the birth of our son, Joshua. Our family quickly fell in love with the community, developing a deep sense of civic pride and gratitude for our wonderful neighbors.

Lisa has dedicated her career to serving others. After graduating from the University of Minnesota as a Registered Nurse, she cared for patients in a rural hospital in Rush City and later in the Emergency Department at St. Francis Regional Medical Center in Shakopee. She eventually stepped back to be a stay‑at‑home mom, later returning to public service part‑time as an Early Childhood Screener and Substitute Nurse for Eastern Carver County Schools.

Joshua has lived in Chanhassen his entire life, attending Chanhassen Elementary School, Pioneer Ridge Middle School and Chanhassen High School. He went on to earn a Computer Science degree at Normandale Community College before beginning his IT career in neighboring Eden Prairie, where he recently earned a promotion to Network and Systems Administrator.

Family means everything to me. Watching Joshua grow up in the same city where Lisa and I built our lives together is a big part of what inspires me to give back to the community we love.
